Filmmaker, founder of Belgian Video Creators and owner of Conci.

Originally studied to become a computer scientist but life gave him another destination. When winning an international film competition in 2011 during his study exchange in Vienna he realized that professional happiness can only be achieved when you follow your true passion. 

After graduating from Prague Film School Roel polished his skills as a freelance motion designer, cameraman and editor at various agencies in Belgium. It’s there where he realized that for further growth in a creative sector cross-pollination is essential. Proactively looking for collaboration with best talents in the industry Roel created “Belgian Video Creators” that now grew to be the most active communication platform for Belgian video professionals. Commitment, resilience and constant effort towards building a professional network led him to start Conci, his own production company. Today he helps companies like Tribù, Philippaerts and Park Hyatt to tell their stories.
