We vroegen het aan onze eigen digital marketeer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/gerben-de-moor-21288b118\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gerben De Moor<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"\"><!--more--><\/h2>\n<h2 id=\"je-werkt-als-digital-marketeer-voor-klanten-maar-je-werkt-ook-aan-de-eigen-marketing-van-mediaforta-wat-zijn-jouw-taken-precies\">Je werkt als digital marketeer voor klanten, maar je werkt ook aan de eigen marketing van Mediaforta. Wat zijn jouw taken precies?<\/h2>\n<p>Gerben De Moor: \u201cHet is een ruim takenpakket, maar met een focus op strategie, distributie en optimalisering van onze digital marketing. De productie zelf is een eerder sporadisch element, wanneer ik bijvoorbeeld meewerk aan een blogpost of whitepaper. Ik vertrek vanuit het bedenken van de marketingstrategie en de concrete invulling ervan via SEO, SEA, e-mailmarketing of sociale media. Hoe zien onze nieuwsbrieven eruit, waar kunnen we die verbeteren? Hoe kunnen we via sociale media onze content zo goed mogelijk posten, promoten of adverteren? Daarbovenop focus ik op het automatiseren en optimaliseren via marketing automation software. We willen de processen zo vlot mogelijk laten verlopen en leren uit de data die dit oplevert.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"welke-diensten-uit-dat-pakket-hebben-jullie-klanten-het-meest-nodig\"><strong>Welke diensten uit dat pakket hebben jullie klanten het meest nodig?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Gerben De Moor: \u201cWe stellen vast dat klanten vooral nood hebben aan flexibiliteit en aan het leveren van kwaliteit binnen de beschikbare termijn. Meer dan specifiek een bepaalde dienst, is er vandaag een nood aan partners die snel en flexibel met de klant kunnen meewerken. Mediaforta is als organisatie ook zeer flexibel, dus dat ligt ons goed. Het is een beetje zoals bij Coolblue: alles voor een glimlach. Velen erkennen het nut ervan en passen het ook toe. Anderen werken nog sterk rond het optimaliseren van een website via het updaten van bijvoorbeeld productfiches en minder door het brengen van sterke relevante content. Dat is wat jammer. Het pushen van producten is belangrijk, maar verdient een plaats later in de journey. Het cre\u00ebren van een merk en een autoriteit moet voor een digital marketeer de eerste stap zijn op de weg naar verkoop. Eerst pak je de storytelling aan, dan pas de verkoop.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"jullie-vak-verandert-snel-wat-zijn-de-skills-die-een-digital-marketeer-in-de-nabije-toekomst-zeker-zal-moeten-hebben\">Jullie vak verandert snel. Wat zijn de skills die een digital marketeer in de nabije toekomst zeker zal moeten hebben?<\/h2>\n<p>Gerben De Moor: \u201cMoeilijke vraag, want we moeten inderdaad van vele markten thuis zijn. De evolutie van SEO is zeker in de gaten te houden. Het is technisch, maar ik wil me er zeker op toeleggen. Daarnaast is aandacht voor de user experience zeker nodig. Alles wordt digitaal: iedereen communiceert via zijn eigen digitale kanalen waardoor het belang van gebruiksvriendelijkheid stijgt. Bezoekers verwachten veel meer dat ze heel vlot door je website kunnen navigeren. Als dat lukt, blijven ze ook langer op je website en lezen ze meer content.
